Do I need to provide my own design for my sign?

Whilst we can create a design that remains unique to you and your business using the brief you supply us with, we can also work with your own designs. This includes pre-existing branding or a design you have created yourself with your signage in mind. We will always inspect supplied artwork, ensuring there are no bleeds or defects that could alter the finished result. This allows you to receive a high-quality finish, no matter where the design comes from.

Will I get to see the design beforehand?

Our sign creation process is entirely collaborative, meaning that we will always provide proof artwork for every customer. We won’t produce your sign without gaining your approval on the design.

Will I own the rights to the design?

Once payment has been processed, you will own the rights to your signage design. We will keep all artwork stored in our files but can provide you with a copy to use.

What is the right format to use when sending you a design?

If you are sending us a design, we request that you send it to us in an editable vector format. This includes AI, EPS, SVG, PDF and CDW. If your file is in a raster format, we can redraw the design in a vector format. The fee for this will depend on the complexity of the design.

What fonts can I use?

You can use any font on your sign, so long as you have obtained the correct permissions. Our expert team will be happy to discuss this with you during the design process.

Do you hand deliver signs after production?

We produce our signs to the highest standard and ensure they remain this way during delivery. Where there is potential for signs to be damaged during third-party transit, whether this be due to the size, shape, or material used, we offer hand delivery to ensure the safe receipt of the sign.

Can you install my sign?

Yes. Our services are comprehensive, meaning that we can safely install signage across the UK. Simply discuss your requirements with us during the design and production process.

Do I need to be present for sign installation?

We would request that you are present to grant access to your premises, as well as to sign off once the sign has been installed to ensure that we have met our contractual obligations.

Can external installation be carried out in all weather types?

Our sign installation service cannot take place if safety would be jeopardised. This includes factors such as installing a large sign in strong winds or undertaking electrical work in heavy rain. If the weather forecast looks as though it would affect your installation, we will get in touch beforehand to discuss suitable options.

Do I need planning permission for my sign?

Whether or not planning permission will be needed will depend on the scope of your signage. If you stay within the planning deemed consent you will not need to obtain planning permission. If your design requires planning permission, we will work with you to complete planning applications.

Are LED illuminated signs safe for external use?

LED illuminated signs are safe for external use due to their durable and weatherproof qualities. All the electrical components and connections used within our signs are fully waterproof and rated to a minimum of IP67. This means they can be submerged in water for a minimum of 30 minutes without fault.

Can I wash my vehicle after graphics have been applied?

We recommend that you leave the vehicle after wrapping for a week before washing, allowing the bond from the vinyl to reach maximum strength. Our team will be happy to advise you on the best methods to care for your vehicle graphics when washing.

Can my vinyl signwriting be removed and updated without causing damage to the vehicle?

The materials we use for vinyl sign writing and vehicle wraps are easily removable and will leave no traces of glue or adhesive. Removing vinyl graphics will not damage your paintwork, so long as the paintwork was in good condition prior to the vinyl wrapping.

How do I look after my sign?

A simple and regular clean is all you’ll need to do to keep your sign shining day and night. Our sign maintenance service can deal with any additional upkeep, making sure your sign looks and works at its best all year round.

Do you offer any guarantees?

Yes. We’re confident in the quality of our workmanship. Our customers receive a 4-year guarantee on all building signage and a 2-year guarantee on vehicle graphics.

How are payments made?

We accept payments for your bespoke sign via BACS, as well as by credit or debit card. Your details can be taken over the phone.

What colours do you offer?

Our extensive range of colours includes vinyl films, digital print colours, and endless paint options with the use of RAL and Pantone colour charts. We can deliver whichever colour you are seeking.

How big can my sign be?

When it comes to the size of your sign, you will only be limited by the size of your building and, potentially, the need for planning permission. Talk to us about the idea you have in mind, and we’ll be happy to advise you on the right approach for your signage.

Can you use my brand guidelines?

Of course! We regularly use brand guidelines to ensure consistency between our work and your existing brand. We can implement the same fonts, colours, logos, or layout to replicate your aesthetic.

How long will the process take?

Unfortunately, we cannot give a precise answer in regard to the timeframe of our sign creation services as this varies depending on signage type. Our customers can expect a turnaround between 1-4 weeks.

How long will my sign last?

Our expertise and top-of-the-range equipment are used to produce long-lasting, quality signage. Our guarantee for building signs is 4 years, but we are confident that our signs will continue to endure beyond this timeframe.

Do you offer wooden or timber signage?

As we are concerned with the longevity and maintenance of our signage, we haven’t found many woods or timbers that work well with these requirements. However, we do work with some long-lasting woods such as cedar, certain types of plywood, or even composite wooden products. These are more durable and provide the same look and feel.
